This Month... Birthdays and Trauma

This month my poor hubby is on a Trauma rotation. I hear these are killer wicked. Please pray for him that he can find moments to sleep that aren't when he is driving, moments to eat that aren't right as I am preparing a huge dinner, and time to be thankful for having a job that (even though he might not always every second of the day) LOVES.

Also taking place this month is my 27th birthday! WOOOHOOO! Twenty-seven down, three more to go! I've always said (ever since I was little) that 30 will be my best year (or that 30 was the age to be, something like that). I always thought something big would happen (good wise) in my life at 30. Well, turns out I was right... Trev will be graduating residency that year and a few other happy happiness as well.

So, in honor of my *almost* 27th birthday.... I bought myself some new shades. I was in heavy contemplation over the last 3 months --- Wayfarers or Mock Aviators??

I chose the Aviators after some help from some friends of mine (thanks Kara and Michelle!).

Now, I can't wait for the MELTING POT! YUMMMMO!
