... job within a job ...
Recently I was asked by my album vendor to help out at their booths at a photography tour that was stopping in Cincinnati and Louisville. I jumped at the chance as it was full of hands on stuff and I just generally enjoy meeting and chatting with new people. Seriously, it's like crack!
I enjoy being in large groups of people and hearing their life stories. Sometimes people surprise me, sometimes my first impression is just spot on.
The first stop in Cincy I did not bring my gear but I did peek in on the classes being given (by some pretty wicked awesome photographers). I grabbed a few iPhone shots, but nothing super special.
The second stop I got to talk to a ton more people, was on familiar turf and even a few people I knew showed up! I brought my camera to this one and joined in on a few of the sessions. We went outside, inside, in basements and possibly even a bathroom --- shhhh. Haha. I learned a TON and generally got some great info that made me feel better about some things I already do and excited about some changes I am going to make!
I am feeling that forward motion again and I'm loving it.
Here are a few shots... The iPhone ones are not massaged in any way, just literally out of my camera, watermarked and put here. Seriously folks, it was just playing around. I am not posting them over on my photography site, just here... :) For funsies...
