... mathis visit via the iPhone ...

Just a few snaps from the last 24 hours that the Mathis grandparents were in town.  We had a bit of fun running all over Kentucky.  From the Slugger Muesum to Keeneland (and a wild goose chase for a restaurant that is no longer there) we had a bit of fun in the Bluegrass!

Some fun was had at the Slugger Museum and Factory in Downtown Louisville.  I had to get in some artsy iPhoneography while we were speaking about baseball.  Mom Mathis got to hold Mickey Mantel's bat and stand along side Babe Ruth.  Of course, the obligatory "stand by the bat" photos were had by all.  I even took a few for a couple from London (eeps! January!) and another random couple.  What can I say, the photographer in me takes pity on people who most certainly want a group photo but always has one solo standing out.  Why?  Because I am usually the one who is left out because of my consistent position behind the camera. :)
