Super Jordyn | Littlest Heroes Project Session
Today I had the privilege of shooting a session for The Littlest Heroes Project. Jordyn has Marfan's Syndrome (heart failure) and is just shy of her second birthday. She loves to play outside, watch Barney movies and spend time with all of her friends at daycare. She is seriously just the sweetest little thing!
Jordyn's parents are now on my list of heroes too! When they were given the diagnosis for their daughter, they didn't just accept it. They became active in seeking out answers and other options. They want others to know that you should have hope and never give up. Jordyn's dad is so grateful that they didn't listen to their first diagnosis and sought out a second opinion. Both mom and dad said that Jordyn's hardest moment was going through surgery. They would like to personally thank Dr. Hal Deitz and Dr. Luca Vrichella (and John's Hopkins) for all the work they put into helping keep their little hero full of spunk.
All in all, I think this whole family is so amazing and very brave. I wish them all the luck in the future and thank them for having the privilege to capture this brief moment in time. Here are a few of my favorite's from the session. Look for one more on Monday that will fit with the IHF Yellow theme coming up!
