Thursday Product Rave!
I have two new things that I am totally over the moon about!
The first is the Sula Paint&Peel Nail Polish.

For all those who loved to put Elmer's glue on your palm in grade school and then peel it off when it dried... yes, you know who you are... this polish is for you. It is eco-friendly, non-toxic (kid friendly), and chip-friendly. I always have my nails chip so super quick after a polish no matter where it's done because of my ruff and tumble little mister man pants. This polish is an excellent way to keep a perfect look. Two coats and you are good to go with a quick drying time you are back in your grove before you even miss a step. Sula Paint & Peel has a “Big 3-Free” formulation that is free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and Phthalates(smelly stuff in other polish). It doesn't have that obnoxious polish smell so you can carry it with you for touch ups. Just peel the chipped nail and reapply. You are good to go. Now, I know what you are all thinking, but if it just peels off, it must chip and get cruddy really easy. Nope. It lasts longer than my regular nail polish! You can even add your regular top coat for even longer lasting wear. Plus, since it doesn't require the nasty smelling polish remover, I am quicker at fixing chips. :) Try it... I promise you'll love it (or at least like it and find it fun). I have three colors so far, DOVE, AZURE, and SKY. I love all three and can't wait to add to my collection. They are amazing colors. My only beef.... keep in mind they dry a shade darker.... so the Dove looks dark grey in the bottle will look even deeper grey (not as harsh as black) on. I can't wait to get my hands on Sorbet or Watermelon for Valentine's day fun!

My second product rave is a UV Lens filter for your DSLR camera. It takes those crisp shots and makes them even sharper and brighter! I was wondering how much of a difference it could really make after reading a few testimonials on the web. The Pioneer Woman and a few other photography blogs gave me the shove I needed to pick up the $10 lens filter at our local Best Buy. I figured for $10 it was worth a try in my quest for crisper shots out of my DSLR. Boy was it the best $10 I ever spent on my camera. Why I even got out of the store without buying this in the first place is beyond me. I mean really... I didn't think it would make that much of a difference, but it did. The UV filter combined with the bits and pieces of photography knowledge I have recently acquired have given me a whole new way of shooting. Now I am getting all giddy over each shot I take and can't wait for a few new lenses. Saving my pennies.
So, let's review....
*non-toxic, kid friendly, make you feel like a 5th grader again polish = blissful goodness
*UV lens filter = well worth the $10 and improves your shot!
