i ♥ faces | We Are Family Week
This week's theme over at i ♥ faces is We Are Family.
Our family here is fun and funky, but small. I browsed through all my family photos I have from other shoots I have done, but still kept coming back to this one of my son and husband. You see, he works a lot and his profession has crazy hours. This month he is oncall every other day. My poor husband was coming off a very busy call night of 30+ hours at the hospital. Poor guy deserved a rest. So, if he dozes, I don't mind. Apparently, neither does my son. At this point he is saying, "Mommy, shhhhh, daddy is trying to catch up after working for 30+ hours straight the up-teenth day in a row, trying to keep people from kicking the bucket." Okay, so no, he really didn't say all that, but that is what his "shhhhhhh" conveyed to me in this photo.
So, while we may be small, WE ARE FAMILY.
