Slowly, But Surely... Who You Callin' Shirley?
Can you tell I am running out of witty original titles?
We are step-by-step getting our house to where I can call it somewhat live-able. It's not paint, but it will do for the next 3.5 years (i guess).
We (and by we, I mean me) added some curtains to the mix in our living room. All the white walls were driving me up the, well, WALLS! I also wanted to tie in the frames I have that are black with sepia photos in them. Naturally, I went with a french themed print on the fabric.
Long story short, I hung the panel curtains I got and decided I didn't like the look and it gave the room a short and stunted feel... so I drug out my trusty sewing machine (thanks Wendy) and got to work cutting up the panels and making two valences and then using the left over to make easy-peasy shams for over my tiny couch cushions. Thus... tying it all together even further.
Here is the one photo I could snap off before V woke up from nap (yes, I did this all within nap time).
