I Guess It's Time
Since tomorrow is New Year's Eve, I guess it is okay to list my resolutions now...
I figure listing them publicly might force me into following up on them.
1. Eat Healthier.
I am actually not too bad at doing this, but I must cut out all the carbonated beverages (oh, CherryLimeAid, how I will miss you)
2. Lose 20 pounds.
I am going to embarrass myself into losing this weight I have put on since the wedding and baby. I am now at the heaviest I have ever been - 140 lbs. I want to get back down to 120. It seemed to be a good weight for me. I felt good about myself and didn't cry every time I tried clothes on at the store. Trevor might not want me to lose it though, I do spend less money on clothes because nothing fits the way I want it too. Teeheehee.
3. Grow my hair out.
I always get to a certain length and then get bored and go "chop it." It always ends up back at my shoulders with me going, "I want long hair!" So I think I am going to go with mid-upper arm. If I reach my goal, I am going to reward myself with a nice spa-day haircut and maybe, just maybe, I might indulge in a massage for my poor shoulders!
4. Find one new way to better myself as a mom.
I love my son and want to be the best mommy I can be!
5. Find one new way to better myself as a wife.
I love doing fun things for the hubsters, so I am going to find a new way to surprise him with his favorite things to do, eat, and play.
There, I think 5 is a pretty good number. I will update on them at least once a month, around the 30th. Maybe I'll make a little spot on the side?
