It finally happened...
Trevor's trusty rusty has gone ka'put!
Yesterday, I got a call from Trevor saying "Come home now, my car is leaking coolant." After taking it to the shop (with a few stops in between for water fill ups), we got an estimate that was just excessively much to soak into the car.
We bit the bullet and tightened the purse strings (not to mention - looked over our budget a zillion times) and were amazed that we CAN afford a new car.
Therefore, off to the dealerships we go. We look at this and that, but when it came down to it... Trevor and I both knew what we had in our minds was a small SUV. We contemplated between a few brands and fell right back to our original love (that we have been secretly pining for over the last 3 years) -- the Jeep. Patriot or Liberty? We chose the Liberty - looked at a few and looked at a few colors...
We both fell in love with the BLUE (go figure, Trev in a blue car - glad he loves to be picky on the color just as much as I do).
So, we are now the proud owners of a blue Jeep Liberty -- Cait, I need help with a name (Trev got to choose the one for Daisy - our Focus)... I am thinking:
~Libby (since it's a Liberty)
~Elphie (since it's a small SUV)
~Athena (cuz' it's cute)
I guess we will have 13 whole days to talk about it, huh?
